Krea is a browser suite for generating, editing, and enhancing images, video, and 3D. The homepage still frames it as one subscription for those jobs, with Krea 2 as the in-house image model, realtime canvas, upscaling, LoRA training, and an asset library.
The current product is on the official changelog. Realtime Director is in soft launch: you type a prompt and a live AI video stream updates as it plays, with an optional first-frame image. Image and video tools now show estimated compute before you run a job. You can also generate with Krea models from ChatGPT through the Krea plugin.
Video in Krea now includes Alibaba Wan 3.0 (480p to 1080p) plus MiniMax H3, MiniMax H3 Max, and Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. Veo 2 and Veo 3 sunset on 28 August 2026. Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Lite stay. Reve image models stopped on 31 August 2026. Seedance Studio is a desktop workspace for cinematic stills and clips. Krea 2 Raw and Turbo are open weights on Hugging Face, and you can still run Krea 2 hosted in the Image tool or API.
Best for creatives who want Krea 2, realtime video direction, and current video models like Wan 3.0 and Veo 3.1 in one browser suite.
Not ideal if you still need Veo 2, Veo 3, or Reve. Those models were sunset in late August 2026.
