It saves to your collection either way. It also counts as a demand signal, meaning someone went looking for something the directory does not cover. That is how a fair amount of the directory gets decided.
Tick Notify me when this tool is listed and we will email you if it later gets a full listing with pricing, alternatives, and reviews. You can also leave yourself a note on any clip, which is worth doing when you are saving ten things in an afternoon.
Only the page you are on when you click the icon, so it can grab the URL and title. Your connection token stays in local extension storage and never reaches our servers.
Yes. The extension costs nothing and works on a free Flaex account, with up to 20 saves per rolling 24 hours and up to 3 collections.
It still saves to your collection. It also registers as a demand signal, which tells us that someone is looking for a tool the directory does not cover yet. Enough signals for the same tool and we look at adding it.
No. Your clips are private to your account unless you choose to share a collection.
It reads the page you are actively on at the moment you click the icon, so it can capture the URL, title, and description. It does not run in the background or track your browsing between clips.

Yes. There is a "Notify me when this tool is listed" option on each save. If the tool later gets a full Flaex listing, you get told, and the saved entry picks up the rating, pricing, and alternatives.
No. The token is stored locally in the extension after the first connection. You would only redo it if you cleared extension storage or reinstalled.
